HOW CAN MSA BE TREATED?
LMultiple System Atrophy (MSA) is a rare, progressive neurological disease that affects the body’s automatic functions—such as blood pressure, breathing, bladder control, and movement. It is caused by the gradual degeneration of nerve cells in multiple areas of the brain and nervous system. People with MSA may experience symptoms similar to Parkinson’s disease (like stiffness, slowness, and balance problems), along with severe autonomic dysfunction, including dizziness or fainting when standing, speech and swallowing difficulties, and impaired coordination.

MSA is frequently misdiagnosed, making awareness and early recognition critical.
